Thursday's update...

Hey everybody, thank you for sending me the cards and posters. Aunt Kim and Mom hung them up in my room. All the nurses, RTs and PTs say I have the coolest room in the hospital. Aunt Kim bought really good Halloween candy and they like to come by for treats.
I have a 6 minute walk tomorrow to test my breathing endurance and my first trach change.
Keep me in your prayers.
Dan the Man

Daniel, It makes my day to hear that you are improving and doing so well! I am not the least bit surprised to hear that you are charming all of the medical staff with your winsome smile. I know that you are making their day, too.
The Groth family prays for you everyday. We can't wait to see that smile for ourselves!
We love you! Debbie

Daniel, I happy to hear that you are up and around. I hope the test goes well today. It sounds like you are eating well. Shrimp Alfredo? I need to come up there and eat with you. You really do have some folks charmed if you are getting alfredo. My suggestion is that you get as much of that as you can. The Epworth folks are so excited about your progress. We will continue to pray. It great to be able to commucate this way, what a blessing!

Hey Daniel,
I am so glad that you are feeling lots better and I can't wait to see you when you get home. I want you to know you are so sweet and special to me and there could never be another like you in this world. I can't wait for you to meet my little one when he gets here in a few more months. We are going to name him Chace Alan after my daddy and grandaddy. Do you like that name? It is crazy to think that I will have a baby of my own, not just one to babysit like I did you guys. I know we used to have so much fun playing mesh baseball in the house, watching all those movies, and eating snacks all day. Hang in there and I will see you very soon. I love you lots. Tell the gang I said hello and if yall need anything just pick up the phone (504-4834).

Love ya,
Ashley White

Hey Buddy,
I'm so glad to hear you had a good weekend. I also heard the night attendant accidently hit "code-blue". I bet that had everybody hopping. I'm back at work today, wishing I was still there with you. Get lots of rest and keep Dad and Grandad on their toes. I miss your smiling face and love you bunches! Aunt Kim

Hey Man,

It is awesome to see that you are doing so well. I knew that you were going to be great. You are such a strong guy. I hope to see you back with us as soon as you can. The youth group gets a weekly update at youth and through the different emails that are sent out about you. I have talked several times with Grandpa Stan. I saw your mom Sunday and she was excited about your progress. Keep charming the ladies, that is extremely important. See you soon.
