HHHHHHHHHHHEEEEELLLLLLOOOOOOO
Daniel Man!!!
I finally got to work this morning - I left my house really early but there was a wreck or something on hwy 96 - the Vandy life flight chopper was there and every fire truck and ambulance in town. Still haven't heard what happened. I am glad that you had fun at the party - are you getting any fatter ( I am sooo glad nobody asks me that :0 )
Don't beat you Mom and Jean-Jean too badly - got to let them get a little confidence back and then really kill them. We can't wait for you to come home!!! The trees are finally pretty for fall. I know that Tuesday Morning will go well and we will get some voice back - hurray!!!
We love you and we are praying for you.
P.S. I think that Joe has got it bad for a girl - don't tell him that I told you -shhhhh.

Daniel I know it has been a long haul, but you hang in there. You are in the last stretch. You will be home before you know it. I know all these last minute surgeries are wearing you out, but they are all for the best. You have got to be at your very best before you come home and all these procedures will get you there. I would hate for you to come home before you are ready and have to go back. You are in my constant prayers. I miss your smiling face at church. You are such an inspiration to so many. I am having my gallbladder removed on Monday and I was dreading it, then I got to thinking about how MUCH you have been through. That has made me feel blessed. You are the toughest and strongest person I know. Keep on hanging in there for just a little while longer. Give your skinny Mom a hug from me.
I love you. Julie Fast

Good Morning Dan the Man!!!

I am so happy to hear the progress you are making. Everyone is saying their prayers that you will be home for the Holidays. I wonder how long it will take before you are in the woods hunting? I hit a deer or rather a deer hit my car the other night and did 4500.00 worth of damage, I never understood how anyone could shoot those beautiful creatures....but after that I went to Wal-mart, bought a gun and I sit out every night on Trinity Road (where I hit the deer) and pray that big buck comes out so I can pop him one. I thought I hit a moose it was so big, Alec and I went back the next day where I hit it and looked all over for it. It had a rack like a Elk, biggest thing I ever saw. Anyway, have a funny story for you. Ms. Quinn was cleaning out the drain buckets in the pool the other day and I was watching her because she is funny to watch, but she opened up that drain and there was a bullfrog the size of a bulldog in there and she screamed and threw the bucket and fell in the pool.....I never laughed so hard in my life. She was soaked and cold and still shaking from seeing that frog...I have to admit it was a huge frog. She screamed so loud that the neighbor came out to see if she was okay and I was still laughing so hard that I could not help her and he just kept saying are you okay and she was trying to find the frog who had jumped back in the pool, it was so funny!!! Our neighbor finally left just shaking his head like we were nuts! Talk about nuts...that neighbor was mowing his grass in his underwear the other day, Quinn didnt believe me so I made her go over and ask to borrow something, she made him stop, get off the lawnmower and get her a gas can , she was laughing, I was laughing and he didnt think anything about it. His wife drove up in the driveway about the time they were coming out of the garage with the gas can and Quinn said she just looked at her, looked at him and just shook her head and walked in the house. I thought I was going to pee in my pants I laughed so much. Anyway, hope you found a smile in all of that. Cant wait to see you, the boys ask about you everyday. Let us know when your coming home!!!!

Hi Daniel - I sure do miss you. I went for a ride all out in Hillsboro with a friend over the weekend & it was GORGEOUS! We stopped & petted horses & walked creeks & saw some really old bridges I don’t remember ever seeing. When we were kids we rode all over that country every weekend that’s all we did & I was missing it. I LOVE FALL!!!! ;D I hope you are still eating lots & get to come home soon. I love you -

Hi Daniel,
I've never written anyone on a blog before, so this a first for me. I am looking forward to seeing your smile in church again. It was soooo cold this morning...30 out. I know the docs will keep working on your voice. I'm sure after all this time you may have a lot to say. Praying for you.

Daniel,
I hope this finds you sitting up, flashing that gorgeous smile of yours and feeling super! I sure miss you! You and Jean Jean and your Mom will be so sick of all of us when you get home. We have missed all of you so much that we won't be able to leave you alone! Eat lots and lots (I dream of a time when I hear those words!) and keep getting stronger.
We all love you!

Hey Daniel!!
I have been trying to find your blog for a while now, but I finally got the address right! We went to the first round playoff game tonight between BA and ECS. Your dad and Gat man whooped 'em, and are moving on to the second round. DJ scored a touchdown!!! YAY. and he caught 5/6 passes. I cant wait until next season so you can come to the games with us too!-
I hear that you are doing better, and I am so proud of how far you have come. When you get back in town we all need to go to Panchos! I would offer to cook for you, but I think Panchos would be WAAAAY better. Maybe they will even let you wear the sambrero (sp?). hahah that would be fun. I can't wait to see you. Please tell your mama hello.
Sending you a BIIIG hug-

Jamie and Jarrod Boyd :)

I made a typo in the last blog.... I mean to say "your dad and gat man came with us. Ba whooped them and are moving on to the next round." It sounded funnier the way i said it in the first post though hahah

Hey everybody, I was not happy when I left the OR Tues. I have a long trach that sticks out like a pipe and I don't have a voice. Dr. Wood is ordering a smaller one but it will take 5-6 weeks to get here. I slept off and on until 2 o'clock today. I was in isolation because I have an infection in my trach. My oxygen dropped last night but is up today. I am feeling better. Mom made it through the 24 hour care now Dad has his turn:) We are waiting to hear from home health care so I can come home. I hope it will be soon!!!!!! They are nice here but I am tired of it.
Thanks for blogging and keep praying,
Daniel Man
